Nepal Trekking
1. Introduction of Nepal Trekking
Nepal is a trekker's paradise. The very organic rhythm of foot travel is a wonderful way to explore and make meaningful contact with the country. The immense contrast in altitude & climates found here offers a spectacular mix of different lifestyle & wildlife.
Standing a top spectacular Himalayan Peaks, breathing in crisp clean air and looking out beyond valleys lined with terraced fields to the ancient village settlements below - you will be awe-struck by the beauty of trekking in Nepal. There is a grand array of trails in Nepal and a trek can be anything from one day to several weeks. Anyone from an armchair thrill seeker to a mountaineering power trooper can find a route to suit his or her fitness level. You don't have to be a mountaineer to enjoy the wonders of walking in the Himalayas, but the farther you venture the closer you'll get to discover the heart of the country, the culture and the people. Trekking is an accessible way for the average hiker to conquer challenging heights. It is simply a matter of your time, interest and your budget.

A word about elevation values:
A very large and expensive surveying-quality differential GPS would be quite accurate over time in determining correct altitudes, but normal outdoor-quality GPS is not very accurate for altitude readings. That plus the fact that most maps are not based upon data as accurate as it could be in this part of the world means that there will be variations in altitude values if different sources are consulted. This can often be plus or minus several hundred feet, so keep in mind that altitudes listed below are approximate.
Altitude:
Trekking in mountain is not just walking. We carefully scheduled our trekking programs to maximize the clients’ ability to acclimatize safely because lots of acclimatization is important for the trekking above 3500m. We ascend slowly and ensure an adequate number of rest days. However, it is still possible for mountain sickness such as headache, nausea, lethargy and sometime breathlessness and your guide will be watching for symptoms with an experienced eye throughout the trip. If you or any of the group members display any of these symptoms he will be able to provide informed advice and ensure a proper course of action.

On a camping trek you will sleep in tents. The staff includes a guide, cook, Sherpa and sufficient porters to carry all trekking gear. Even if you have never camped before, there is no need to worry that you won’t enjoy the experience. The tents we provide are roomy, the sleeping pads/ mattresses are comfortable and international style food of a high standard is freshly prepared and served. On all of our treks a bathroom tent is provided as well as a dining tent with tables and camp stools, providing a cozy, comfortable atmosphere to eat and chat with fellow trekkers during the evening.
In Nepal on the more popular treks, enterprising villagers have built tea-house lodges.
