Nepal Trekking

1. Introduction of Nepal Trekking

Nepal is a trekker's paradise. The very organic rhythm of foot travel is a wonderful way to explore and make meaningful contact with the country. The immense contrast in altitude & climates found here offers a spectacular mix of different lifestyle & wildlife.
Standing a top spectacular Himalayan Peaks, breathing in crisp clean air and looking out beyond valleys lined with terraced fields to the ancient village settlements below - you will be awe-struck by the beauty of trekking in Nepal. There is a grand array of trails in Nepal and a trek can be anything from one day to several weeks. Anyone from an armchair thrill seeker to a mountaineering power trooper can find a route to suit his or her fitness level. You don't have to be a mountaineer to enjoy the wonders of walking in the Himalayas, but the farther you venture the closer you'll get to discover the heart of the country, the culture and the people. Trekking is an accessible way for the average hiker to conquer challenging heights. It is simply a matter of your time, interest and your budget.

Trekking in Nepal is a finely tuned business today. Himalayan Humanity Treks offers a variety of destinations and styles to assist the many travelers who dream of exploring our magical kingdom nestled in the Himalayas. You can experience hopping from tea house to tea house along trails soaking up the cozy atmosphere of the local lodges or go for the more expedition-style experience of a full service trek where kerosene-lit dining tents and early morning bed tea become amenities to life.

Exhilarating and fascinating trekking with the Himalayan Humanity Treks in Nepal transports you to the timeless tradition of Nepalese culture, and the space of the Himalayas. It is this earthly combination of breathtaking scenery and open, friendly people that has attracted travelers here for trekking since the 1960s.
The Dreams you have, Himalayan Humanity Treks & Expedition explore it.

There are two basic types of accommodation in trekking; Teahouse and Camping. All the treks are lead by our professional guides, who all are well trained and licensed by the Government.

Camping TentOn a camping trek you will sleep in tents. The staff includes a guide, cook, Sherpa and sufficient porters to carry all trekking gear. Even if you have never camped before, there is no need to worry that you won’t enjoy the experience. The tents we provide are roomy, the sleeping pads/ mattresses are comfortable and international style food of a high standard is freshly prepared and served. On all of our treks a bathroom tent is provided as well as a dining tent with tables and camp stools, providing a cozy, comfortable atmosphere to eat and chat with fellow trekkers during the evening.

Teahouse TrekIn Nepal on the more popular treks, enterprising villagers have built tea-house lodges.

In popular areas such as Annapurna, Everest and Langtang, Tea Houses are more like hotels, with hot showers, western food, and private rooms (twin sharing). In this arrangement overnight halts with dinner and breakfast will be in Tea-houses (Lodges) and lunches in local restaurants en-route.

Furthermore as you will be staying in locally owned lodges you will be benefiting and interacting with the local community. It will give you a true feel for the Nepalese people and their lives.

On trek you are guided by an English speaking local guide and all main baggage is carried by porters, yaks or horses.

Porters from Unique PathThis is another way of doing trekking in Nepal. For economy treks, we provide a guide as well as a sufficient number of porters as per your demand so that our clients can be relieved of carrying the majority of their possessions and bask in the glory of this majestic environment

  • boost interest amongst members
  • raise the profile of your club locally
  • attract new members

A word about elevation values:
A very large and expensive surveying-quality differential GPS would be quite accurate over time in determining correct altitudes, but normal outdoor-quality GPS is not very accurate for altitude readings. That plus the fact that most maps are not based upon data as accurate as it could be in this part of the world means that there will be variations in altitude values if different sources are consulted. This can often be plus or minus several hundred feet, so keep in mind that altitudes listed below are approximate.
Altitude:
Trekking in mountain is not just walking. We carefully scheduled our trekking programs to maximize the clients’ ability to acclimatize safely because lots of acclimatization is important for the trekking above 3500m. We ascend slowly and ensure an adequate number of rest days. However, it is still possible for mountain sickness such as headache, nausea, lethargy and sometime breathlessness and your guide will be watching for symptoms with an experienced eye throughout the trip. If you or any of the group members display any of these symptoms he will be able to provide informed advice and ensure a proper course of action.
